Oct 2011 - New Interactive Whiteboard for our Kindergarten
The Preschool room at Country Kids now has a wonderful technological and educational tool to assist in the development of our Pre-School children in our Qld Governemnt Approved Kindergarten Program in the form of an Interactive Whiteboard.
The children were able to experience the whiteboard first hand today (Monday 24th Oct 2011) being able to trace over their names using the interactive pen.
The whiteboard can be linked up to a computer allowing the children to access computer programs and educational tools on the Internet under the watchful supervision of our Pre-School teachers Miss Melinda and Miss Katie. We hope that this technology will enable the children to not only experience new technologies but also use these to enhance their learning and development.
