Park Rangers Visit Country Kids
Country kids had some very special visitors on Thursday 20th October in the form of some pretty impressive stuffed Australian animals along with two very informative Park Rangers - Jo McLellan and Justin Wheatley.
The children were treated to some very informative information about each of the animals that had been brought in and were very keen to share some of their personal stories and experiences that they had had with these animals.
At the end of the presentation the children were eager to get up and have a hands on experience with the stuffed animals being able to touch them and look at them while not having to worry about the animals or the children being frightened.
We would like to thank Jo and Justin for giving up their time to come and talk to us about our very precious wildlife and bringing in some of them for us to get up close and personal with.
