Protective Behaviours and Child Personal Safety

Wednesday 19th October Country Kids held a parent and staff information night on Protective Behaviours and Child Personal Safety presented by Constable Ellis. It was a very interesting and informative presentation with plenty of helpful hints, flyers and contact information in regards to keeping our children safe when it comes to personal safety.

Staff and parents talked about and asked questions in relation to sexual abuse and how to read the warning sign and how to help our young children to read these early warning signs and be able to feel safe telling somebody when they don't feel safe or don't like something that is happening to them.

We would like to thank Constable Ellis for presenting the information night along with those parents and staff who attended making the evening worthwhile.
